Culvert replacement on state Route 41 in Afton begins this week
AFTON - Culvert replacement will be performed beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6 on state Route 41 between county Road 17 and Little Hill Road, in the Town of Afton.
The work will continue weekdays until approximately 3:30 p.m. until the project is expected to be completed on Aug. 12, weather permitting.
The New York State Department of Transportation said motorists will encounter an alternating lane closure controlled by flag personnel during daily work operations. A temporary traffic signal will be utilized when work is not being performed.
